Dr. Kiran Dahiya has been working as a professor in the Department of Biochemistry, Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana since 2014. She did her MBBS and MD from the same institute. She has a profound interest in academics and research with around 120 articles, 5 books and 26 book chapters to her credit. She is a member of editorial and reviewer board of a number of national and international journals and has edited 2 books also. She had been the organizing secretary of the national conference AMBICON 2015 and quality manager for NABL accreditation of Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory, PGIMS Rohtak in 2017. She is the recipient of ‘Distinguished Professor’ and ‘Research Excellence’ awards for her works by different societies and has been nominated as a member of expert group for preparing competence based guidelines and minimum standard requirements for MD Biochemistry by NMC. She has been selected as a member of National academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS) and is the member secretary of IMRG proposal evaluation and approval committee of R & D cell of University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. She is involved in teaching of medical, dental and paramedical undergraduate as well as postgraduate students for more than 20 years and has worked for about a year in African Oncology Institute, Libya. She has supervised and is still guiding many thesis projects and dissertations.
