About Book

About Author

Ms. Sneha Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics at Kanpur Institute of Technology & Pharmacy, Kanpur, with experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and holds an M. Pharm degree from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU). Her research interests include drug formulation, topical and nanoparticle drug delivery systems, and wound healing formulations. To date, she has published 4 research papers and 3 review papers, contributed 2 book chapters, and hold 1 patent in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. She actively contributes to academic excellence through innovative teaching and research activities.

Dr. Prashant Kumar Katiyar is an accomplished academician, researcher, and administrator in pharmaceutical sciences with over 19 years of experience in teaching, research, and institutional leadership. He currently serves as Director of Kanpur Institute of Technology and Pharmacy, Kanpur, where he played a key role in achieving NAAC Grade A accreditation. Dr. Katiyar holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has authored and co-authored several textbooks, including Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical dosage forms. A recipient of the Global Teacher Award, he holds national and international patents and has published extensively in reputed journals. His research interests span pharmaceutical analysis, drug delivery systems, and herbal formulations.

Dr. Nidhi Tyagi, M.Pharm. (Pharmacology), Ph.D. is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Kanpur Institute of Technology and Pharmacy, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She has over eight years of academic experience and has successfully supervised 10 M.Pharm. students in their research projects. Dr. Tyagi has contributed extensively to the field of pharmaceutical sciences through her academic, research, and administrative roles in reputed pharmacy institutions. Her research portfolio includes 13 national and international publications, one Indian patent, and the authorship of two book. She is also an active nominee team member of CPCSEA (Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals), reflecting her commitment to ethical research practices. With a strong foundation in pharmacology, Dr. Tyagi continues to inspire students and young researchers through her teaching, mentorship, and dedication to advancing pharmaceutical education and research.
