The manual serves as a comprehensive laboratory guide designed to strengthen students' practical knowledge and technical skills in the field of herbal drug technology.
The book presents practical experiments in a simple, systematic, and student-friendly format. These exercises are aligned with the practical learning outcomes prescribed by the PCI curriculum.
This manual emphasizes the principles of quality control, standardization, pharmacognostical evaluation, and formulation development, helping students understand the scientific basis of herbal medicines while developing essential laboratory competencies. The procedures are written in clear language and follow accepted laboratory practices, making the manual suitable for classroom teaching, practical examinations, self-learning, and reference.
