Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Gahlot, M.Pharm, Ph.D., is a Professor of Pharmacology at HIMT College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida. He has more than two decades of academic and research experience in reputed pharmacy institutions and universities. Throughout his teaching career, he has guided and mentored students of M.Pharm, B.Pharm, B.Pharm Practice, and D.Pharm with a strong commitment to quality pharmaceutical education.
His areas of academic expertise include Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Experimental Pharmacology, and Pharmacological and Toxicological Screening Methods. He has authored several books covering anatomy physiology, pathophysiology, experimental pharmacology, and screening methods. He has published numerous research papers with high impact factor in reputed indexed journals, and contributed 5 patents in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. His research interests include herbal drug research, neuropharmacology, cardioprotective studies, diabetic nephropathy, and experimental evaluation of therapeutic agents. Dr. Gahlot is actively associated with professional bodies such as the Delhi Pharmacy Council, Indian Pharmacological Society, and Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. Through this book, he aims to provide postgraduate pharmacy students with a clear, practical, and student-friendly understanding of pharmacological and toxicological screening methods.
