The motivation for writing this book stems from incidental readings of the biographies of former Andhra Medical College faculty Dr. Danda Venkata Subba Reddy and Dr. Pudipeddy Kutumbaiah, who are both pioneers in the field of History of Medicine

Dr. N. Srinivasa Reddy, MD, is Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He did his both M.B., B.S and M.D from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. He has been involving in medico-legal practice since 2008, as a community medical officer at Rural Andhra Pradesh (from 2008–2018), as a Resident at Rangaraya medical college, Kakinada from (2018–2021) and now in the position of Assistant professor since 2022.
