Dr. Shiva Tushir is working as Associate Professor in Department of Pharmacy, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Samalkha, Haryana. She has completed her Ph.D. from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, Haryana with DST-INSPIRE Fellowship. She is recipient of Gold Medal in Pharmacognosy subject in year 2013. She has a illustrious academic career comprising of teaching Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry subject to Diploma and degree students and is very active in research related to pharmacognosy, extraction of phytochemicals and nutraceuticals having more than 20 publications in respective field. She has authored two books related to medicinal plants and herbal drug technology and guided more than 20 students on project work related to Nutraceuticals.
Dr. Gaurav Agarwal is currently serving as Principal, Department of Pharmacy at PIET Panipat, bringing with him over 22 years of academic and research experience. His distinguished career spans academic administration, curriculum development, and quality enhancement. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and an M.Pharm from BITS Pilani, and has also contributed as a Research Scientist at IPCA Labs, Mumbai. His research expertise covers novel drug delivery systems, gastroretentive formulations, nanomedicine, and artificial intelligence in pharmaceuticals. Dr. Agarwal has authored more than 20 textbooks, which are widely adopted in pharmacy institutions across India and abroad. He also holds several patents, particularly in AI-enabled diagnostic devices and innovative pharmaceutical formulations. His academic contributions include over 40 research publications in reputed journals, addressing themes such as nanotechnology, AI in drug delivery, phytopharmaceuticals, and cancer therapeutics. He has successfully completed a DST-funded Inspire project of Rs. 9.75 lakh and has guided numerous M.Pharm and Ph.D. scholars. Renowned for his innovative contributions to pharmacy education and research, Dr. Agarwal continues to inspire the next generation of pharmaceutical professionals.
