About Author

Dr. Bhadrapriya Sanjay Parab, Ph.D. in Nursing, boasts over 26 years of experience in the nursing profession, with 20 years dedicated to nursing education. She completed her Ph.D. in Nursing from MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Mumbai, and MSc Nursing from L.T. College of Nursing, SNDT Women's University, Mumbai. Currently, she serves as the Nursing Principal at Bhaktivedanta Hospital's Rosalind S. Teton School of Nursing in Mira Road, Thane district, Maharashtra.
Dr. Bhadrapriya has authored 7 research publications and presented 5 research papers at national and international conferences. She has been an invited speaker and resource person at various seminars and conferences. Her areas of interest include geriatric care and spirituality. Additionally, she works as a spiritual counselor at ISKCON Mumbai and has organized numerous seminars and conferences. She is also recognized for her community work.
Her Ph.D. research focused on improving the quality of life among the geriatric population, where she arranged free medical facilities, including cataract surgeries, provision of medicines, and health awareness programs. Dr. Bhadrapriya excels in sports and has received awards for her achievements in cricket and badminton, as well as for her dedicated 25-year service to the institution. She was also recognized for her outstanding work during the Gujarat earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Bhadrapriya is a life member of the Trained Nurses' Association of India (TNAI) and the Society of Community Health Nurses of India (SOCHANI). She serves as an international committee member of the Bhakti Vedanta Medical Association's Geriatric Committee.
