He did his MBBS from Osmania Medical Collage, Hyderabad, Telangana and MD (Anatomy) from Government Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He worked as teaching faculty in Malaysia for 5 years.
He co-authored 'Anatomy for Nurses' with his teacher Dr. K.S.N Prasad. He has also authored “Competency Based Human Anatomy, in 3 Volumes. In which he has dealt with each anatomical competency of CBME Curriculum serial wise to make it student friendly and without the need to search many books for mastering all competencies.
