She has a keen interest in studying recent advancements in the field of Oral Medicine and Radiology and has been studying about the newest technological trends capable of changing the face of the field. Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry is a much known but lesser studied topic. To throw light upon the mechanism and current role of AI in Dentistry has been her motivation behind this book.
Dr. Amita Navalkar has completed her BDS from Mumbai University in 1996. She completed her Masters in Oral Medicine and Radiology in 1999 from RGUHS. She is an astute academician and has over 22 years of Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate teaching experience. She is presently holding the post of Professor and Post graduate guide at the Dr. G.D.Pol Foundation's YMT Dental College and Hospital. She has several National and International publications to her credit. She has published an E-book on Oral Health in Women. She has a keen interest in Potentially malignant disorders and Radiographic interpretation and research related to the same.
