Dr. Suraj Kumar BPT, MPT, Ph.D. (Physiotherapy), MIAP, SRF-ICMR is presently working as associate professor and HOD in Physiotherapy Department, Dean of Paramedical Faculty, Uttar Pradesh University of Medical and Sciences, Saifai, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was born in 1975 at Nalanda (Bihar), He completed his Ph.D. along with senior research fellowship (Indian council of Medical Research) from Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. He obtained his Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (Sports Medicine) from Bhopal University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has got 19 year experience in teaching, clinical and research in various educational Institutions for undergraduate and postgraduate students. So far he has been invigilating and conducting university level examinations for more than 10 along with the board of studies members for different Universities.
He has published 95 articles and research papers in various national and international reputed journals. He was also associated with Indian National Women Hockey Team and accompanied the team as a physiotherapist for fifteenth Asian Games held at Doha- 2006.
He is also associated with Rehabilitation of Indian, Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty and National Trust as an inspector for NGO related work concerning person with Disabilities and allied health education. He is also an active member of various Physiotherapy Professional associations as well as chairing as a scientific chairman in conferences. He has also organized various Physiotherapy conferences, workshops, Continuing Medical Education Programme and camps at different places in India.
