    About Author

    Dr Limci Gupta is a Joint Director of UK Global Healthcare Limited (Indo UK Institute of Health). She is also Head of Diagnostics at Indo UK Institute of Health (IUIH). She is a Fellow of Royal College of Pathologists (UK) and practises as a part time consultant histopathologist and cytopathologist, currently based at St George's Hospital, London. She graduated from BJ Medical College, Pune having completed MBBS and a Diploma in Clinical Pathology from Pravara Medical College (Pune University). She then pursued her further studies in UK and was awarded FRCPath whilst at Royal Free Hospital, London. Her special interest is in gynaecological and breast pathology. She is on the international editorial board for Indian Journal of Pathology & Oncology and is a member of British Association of Gynaecological Pathologists. 

    Dr Jayson Wang is a Fellow of Royal College of Pathologists (UK), and a consultant histopathologist and honorary senior lecturer at St George’s Hospital and University, where he is the Lead in Molecular Pathology within the Cellular Pathology Department. He has both research and clinical interests in urological, gastrointestinal and gynaecological pathology. He graduated with honours from the University of Aberdeen, and has specialist accreditation both in Histopathology and Medical Oncology. He obtained a PhD in Cell Biology from Cancer Research UK, and was an Academic Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. He is a member of the National Cancer Research Institute Cellular-Molecular Pathology Initiative working group.


    Dr Val Thomas is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK) and is a consultant and honorary senior lecturer for South West London Pathology based at St George’s Universities Foundation Trust, London. She is lead breast pathologist and medical laboratory lead for cervical screening. She graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School (now St George’s University London) having completed MBBS and a PhD in developmental biology. Interests include translation of research into clinical practice. She was the cellular pathology lead for SWLP during transition and has been Clinical Director for Cancer and a Divisional Chair at St George’s Hospital. She is currently an examiner for the conjoint examination board of the Royal College of Pathology and the Institute of Biomedical Science in cervical and diagnostic cytology.
